IMPORTANT
To run JImage Mosaic, you NEED to have the 1.4 version of Java's Runtime Environment. If you are unsure if you have this or not, go to a command prompt (Win) or shell (Linux), and type: java -version
If the version listed is greater than or equal to 1.4, you are okay. Otherwise, follow the download instructions below. (Java is a good thing to have installed on your computer anyway.)
ALSO!
You also need to download Java's Advanced Imaging API (JAI). Make sure you do this AFTER you download and install the Java Runtime Environment. After you have both of these installed, JImage Mosaic should work like a charm.

DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS

If you need to download the Java Runtime Environment (J2EE 1.4 JRE), do the following:
Go to, http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4/download.html
From here, find the link under the "JRE" (Not SDK) category for your operating system. Follow the link to download and install the software.

If you need to download JAI, go to:
http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/jai/downloads/download-1_1_1_01.html
From here, find the "JRE" drop-box. Select your operating system from the box and download and install the software.

If you plan on downloading the source code to JImage Mosaic instead of the binaries, download the SDK or JDK versions of the above software.
